03Which plan
Match the plan to the bottleneck.
The upgrade trigger is rarely price. It is usually the fourth seat, the second brand, or the first review that needs a paper trail.
- SketchYou have one brand and up to three people building from it. Stay here until a fourth seat or a second kit shows up.
- StudioYou publish weekly across several brands and need a reviewer to sign off before anything goes live. Approvals and scheduling start here.
- AgencyYou hold kits for clients who must never see each other’s assets, and your security team asks for SSO and an audit trail.
04Seat and kit usage
See where the workspace stands before you upgrade.
The workspace usage panel shows kits, seats and templates against your plan limit, so a move to Studio is a decision you make with the numbers in front of you, not a surprise at the paywall.
05Billing
What gets billed, and when.

What is billed?
One flat monthly charge per workspace: $0 for Sketch, $69 for Studio, $529 for Agency, in USD. There are no per-asset, per-post or per-export fees, and locked rules never cost extra.
When does the charge land?
On the day you choose a paid plan, then on the same date each month. Sketch never bills.
How do I cancel?
Open Settings, then Plan and usage, and choose a different plan. The change takes effect at the end of the current billing month, and your kits and version history stay in the workspace.
What happens if I move down to Sketch?
Sketch holds 1 brand kit, 3 seats and 50 templates. Anything above those limits becomes read-only until you are back inside them or upgrade again; nothing is deleted.
Can I switch between Studio and Agency?
Yes, in either direction from Plan and usage. Upgrades unlock client workspaces, custom roles, SSO and audit logs at once.
